How to save WhatsApp messages without taking a screenshot

Until last year, 65 billion messages were sent every day on WhatsApp, a proprietary application of Facebook. This number is gradually increasing every day.

WhatsApp users usually rely on screenshots to save your chats and group chats. However, screenshots are not the only way to save messages. WhatsApp messages can also be saved with Starred Messages, another feature of WhatsApp.

This feature is available in Android, iPhone and Windows smartphones.

To save messages in Android phone with this feature

i. Open the WhatsApp

ii. Open the chat you want to save

iii. Tap and hold the message you want to save.

iv. Tap the Star icon at the top of the screen to select a message.

Android users to view saved messages

i. Open the WhatsApp

ii. Tap the three dots at the top right of the screen.

iii. Tap Starred messages from the menu that appears.

IPhone users to save the message

i. Open the WhatsApp

ii. Go to the chat you want to save

iii. After selecting the message, tap and hold.

iv. Tap the Star icon at the top of the screen.

IPhone users to view saved messages

i. Open chats that contain starred messages

ii. Then tap on the name of the chat

iii. Then tap Starred messages to view the saved messages.
